Pricing, More Info and Waiting List
TERMS
Our terms are straightforward. Rabbits will have an IAGARB pedigree meaning I see no reason they may not be bred and they may be proposed for IAGARB registration if they are meeting sheared fiber weight.
If you are on the waiting list you will be notified when the litter arrives and told colors and maybe- just maybe- sexes. Takes a while sometimes to be sure. Pictures as well. If a particular rabbit appeals, a $50.00 deposit will be required to hold that particular rabbit to weaning age of 8-12 weeks. I prefer 12 or first shearing date cause it makes a difference in knowing how the rabbit will produce fiberwise.
Body shape/ conformation will be subjectively noted by me. I'm not an IAGARB judge but I do know what to look for.
I WILL be doing micron testing on the 12+ week olds before their first shearing. This will give me the best idea of each rabbit's density, comfort level and micron count. You will receive a copy of your bunny's test results at no extra charge. Testing is the best way for me to determine who ranks in the litter where fiber is concerned. Note, though, a twelve week old bunny coat is unreliable and he will give way different numbers as an adult which is why I don't charge for the test, but it's a start anyway. We use what we can. 🤷♀️
WOOLER
Woolers are bunnies that may have minor defects that produce fine fiber and are excellent for the home spinner who wants a pet to spin with but has no interest in breeding. Woolers come with no pedigree.
Join our waiting list for more information on our upcoming litters including dates available, sexes, prices. Also let me know what YOU are seeking- buck, doe, breeding rabbit.
TRANSPORT

We do not deliver bunnies in the winter as it's pretty impossible to get around here. Pick up or deliver is April- November.
We can help to arrange transport but better the new owner come here and spend some time learning basic care, how to shear, the importance of record keeping of those shears, how to read an IAGARB pedigree. When you come, an older rabbit in coat will be blown out, shorn and nails clipped while you watch.
I will speak extensively on IAGARB and encourage you to join although there is no obligation to do so. But these rabbits are bred for specific purposes -fiber and meat- and if you choose to breed later be sure you are meeting those purposes so following IAGARB is indispensable.
Bunnies can also be picked up from me at any fiber festival I'm attending.
If it is just not possible for you to pick the bunny up in person (preferred) I am open to transporting.
I can meet transporters in Yreka, Ca., Mt. Shasta Ca., or Redding Ca.
At this point I would recommend Hoppin Trails Transport who makes regular runs up and down California, and Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon.

For farther distances I recommend Up North Pet Taxi.

HEALTH CERTIFICATES OR CVI
If your situation requires flying a rabbit or your transporter requires a health certificate or CVI, my vet charges a $115.00 per bunny. You would have to pay me or him upfront for this service and I would take the bunny there and back. There is a waiting list to get in. To add the cost of the RHVD2 vaccine would be $44.00 more. My rabbit vet is Arcata Animal Hospital in Arcata Ca. The appointment waiting time averages 45 days.
There have been no incidents of RHVD in my 11 county area of Northern California and my bunnies are house bunnies with no visible signs of pasteurella either. Still I recommend a reasonable quarantine time if you have other rabbits or if you are using a multi animal transport. For instance the last bunny I brought home (Hologram) came from Eugene, Or and had already experienced 30 day quarantine.
Bunny will arrive with 10 days of feed to adjust to your new feed, tattoos, micron test results and a hard copy pedigree. You will also receive an email of pedigree.
